Vibration when idling and between 40-70 mph

Replaced timing belt and put on four new tires on 2002 Audi A4. Now there is a vibration when idling and also between 40-70 mph that feels like engine is running rough, but tachometer holds steady. Vibration occurs going up hilss, going down hills, but sometimes I can find a speed where I get no vibration.

Hi I am vortash I need you to check something out for me before I comit to what i think it may be .. start the car and set the idle speed at approx 500 to 800 RPM , take a heavy duty screwdiver or a 12" piece of broom handle and hold it against the head . Place you ear on the end of the handle and see if you hear a rumbling ( knocking sound ) or if you feel the vibration .. we need to eliminate some possibilities first . ... Regards Vortsh

What causes slight vibration?

sounds too much like a wheel imbalance, check all the wheel nuts are tight too (I know it sounds stupid but it has happened to me) some off-road tyres have a speed limit set to around 50mph.

2010 ford fusion vibration at idle and acceleration.

Chances are its a minor miss in one of the cylinders. You don't feel it neutral at idle or until the trans goes into overdrive because those times the engine is not working very hard.
If it is a miss fire the check engine light will come on when it gets bad enough to affect fuel mileage.
If you have not yet changed the plugs I would start with that. There is also a chance you damaged the engine when it overheated.

Its a 2002 audi A4, the mis firing occurs when am driving, and the vibration occurs mostly when the car is in park or I stop on the road

sound like a coil packed up on one of the cylinders or a sparkplug or a sparkplug lead if there is no coil packs.the vibration will be there when is idling because of misfiring.hope this helps

I REPLACED TIMING BELT AND IS HAS A VIBRATION

It sounds like either the balance shaft was in the wrong position when the belt was put on so now it isn't canceling the vibration. Or you were off a tooth or two when you put it back together. Pull the timing cover and check to make sure you are rite on the timing marks. If you are then you will probably have to take the belt off and rotate the balance shaft 1 time. Then put it all back together.

Squeeky belt and front wheel vibration after having belts replaced

I would guess your two issues are separate. The squealing belt could be an adjustment problem or a wet or damaged belt. Belts can vary, how long they last. I have replaced them the next year on some cars and others could 3 or 4 years. The tire vibration could be related to the tire tread or some type of tire defect(a bubble in the side wall), may be an alignment problem. Check the steering components, tie-rods, ball joints, and wheel bearings.
