Good day. A couple of things can cause your problem. First thing you can try is to connect a 12v supply to your fuelpump to see if its running. both positive and negative. There will be a positive supply present on the pump with ignition on. Its the negative wire thats being switched by a relay that is triggered by an electronic pulse censor. This censor works of a toothed gear on the front pulley. This censor also triggers the injectors as well as your spark. So if you have spark on the sparkplugs it means the censor is ok and that means your fuel relay is faulty. Most of the times its the fuel relay.

SOURCE: 1998 350 Silverado will not start

I believe that you have throttle body injection (TBI) Take off the air cleaner and have someone crank the engine look at the injectors and see if fuel is seen..Do you or have you smelled fuel when you were recently attempting to start truck???? if so this sounds like you are not getting spark....if you havent smelled fuel try priming TBI with gas and see if the truck fires...If so you know that problem lies in fuel delivery... On TBI systems it is very important that a conicle spray pattern is delivered by injectors for proper ignition if injector drips fuel into TBI this could cause a no start condition...To see if spray pattern is correct you can use a timing light if available...Hook it up as normal (red positive post and black negative post and pick-up on #1 spark plug wire) point light at injector and have assistant crank engine light allows visibility to spray pattern.....also check the fuel pressure regulator and vacuum lines....Hope this helped you..let me know if I can help anyfurther....Good Luck!!!!

Your fuel pump is inside the petrol tank. you will need some special tools to remove the pump. be very carefull not to brake any thing.

Hi my 2003 opel meriva starts up and idles but wont rev up...please help

Hi is it Petrol or Diesel. Either way would suggest basics , is it getting fuel, does it have any air leaks. Has this happened since something else has been done or been fueled incorrectly.
Really needs to have a diagnostic check.

My opel coarsa 1.4 utility loses power but when i restart engine it runs fine for a while then loses power again

check the fuel pump. also check the fuel regulator on the injection rail should be 1 to 2 bar pressure. if fuel pump is weak pressure can get to low. also check air filter make sure its not blocked. also the same with the fuel filter as this being blocked will restricted the engine.

Im driving an opel astra j essentia 1.6 2011 model, recently it started jerking or cutting petrol supply, i bought a new petrol pump the problem still persists please assist.

Jerking or cutting fuel supply? How did you determine that? This is most likely a sensor in the engine. Could be a fuel pump relay but it most likely is a crank shaft sensor.
