2009 kia spectra: I had my car jumped and now my radio is completely off, the clock is off, interior lights won't turn on, and the button to lock my doors only works when car is on. I checked the fuse

I had my car jumped and now my radio is completely off, the clock is off, interior lights won't turn on, and the button to lock my doors only works when car is on. I checked the fuse by the steering wheel my audio fuse is fine I looked at a few others those were good too, i even tried newer fuses but they didn't work. I called the dealership for a secuirty code but since my radio won't work at all i have no way to put it in. All I want is my radio back. Should I look under the hood at the fuse box?

If it happened after jumping car than Yes look in the main fuse box under the hood and check all fuses there, you may need a volt ohm meter to check some of them...

SOURCE: 2004 dodge neon fuse problem.

The dome tight is actually a combo fuse/light. If that light is burned out; 1 the locks won't work, and 2 the odometer will flash "FUSE" and 3 the "DOOR" warning light will stay on - try replacing the bulb. If it stays on with all the doors closed, more then likely one of the switches that are built into each of the door latches is not making the correct contact to shut off the dome light/dash light. The correct fix is to replace the defective latch. The other option is to just cut the wires that feel the switch inside the door - then the car will think that door is always closed and the lights will not come on when you open that door.

SOURCE: fuse problem in my kia sportage 1996

Are you sure that you looked at ALL the Fuses? Could be the Cigarette Lighter Fuse or a Fuse under the Hood in That Fuse Box. There are a Few fuses that Link between the Fuse Boxes and Have Multiple Functions. Try this and see.

SOURCE: Driver side door won't lock electronically

very common problem is the door lock actuator. i would recommend replace that. a good idea also would be to remove the door panel and check all the rods that connect to the assembly and make sure one didnt pop off.

Testimonial: "I figured it out before i got the answer, but you were right, it was the actuator for sure, i replaced it and it worked just fine. thank you!"

SOURCE: Blew a fuse that powers radio/clock/lighter in

there is a fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. it is very hard to reach. it is located above your left knee when you are seated in the drivers seat. lay on your back, look up under the dash, use flashlight. The lid for the fuse box has a diagram showing which fuse goes to the radio.

The battery could be completely dead or the alternator isn't working. Those would be the first 2 things I would check you can have them test the alternator at Autozone too.

Replaced ac condensor and now the radio, clock, interior lights won't turn on

Radio and clock/interior lights are two different circuits. Check your fuse block to see if it has power.

Clock and radio doesn't light up when car turned on

I used pliers to pull out the entire plastic shroud around the fuse, then put the fuse into the shroud and then plugged the whole assembly back in.
