2001 Chevy cavalier Z24 keyless entry not working.

My keyless entry was working fine for about 8 months when all of a sudden one day it stopped working. I thought it was the battery so I tried replacing it with no luck. I have a spare keyless entry so I tried that also with no luck. I have also checked the fuse the keyless entry runs off of and that is fine. I have also tried resynchronization but that has also not worked. Please Help!

You should have it scaned to see if you have any codes. It has a RCDLR (remote control door lock reciever) this is the module that recieves the signal from the fobs. If it has a problem then the system will not work. If it has to be replaced then a dealer will have to program it for you. Good Luck

SOURCE: Cant find there trunk release button or switch for
A trunk release button is not included in most Cavalliers. The cavalier came standard with electronic trunk release from the keyless entry keyring. Otherwise you need to use the key.

2001, it is inside the glove box, left side.

The Rear Wipers on my 2001 1500 Chevy Suburban Stopped working

Unplug the connector at the rear wiper motor, turn the switch on and probe the wires with a test lamp, if you have power back there you more than likely have a bad motor. If there is no power start checking fuses they are all labeled easily on the back side of the fuseblock covers both on the dash and underhood. Good Luck!!!
