SOURCE: I have a 1994 Mercedes E320. My blower fan doesn't work.

The "strip" fuse is in a tootsie roll sized black container on the drivers side strut mount. pop it open and there it is. 2 philips screws hold it in place. Breaks in the fuse are not easy to see.

SOURCE: 98 SL500 dead battery. Can't open trunk to get to

Hi Your S class has two batteries. The smaller one is located in the engine bay, and the bigger one in the boot (trunk). No need to access any of them, simply open the door with key, insert key to start engine, you will notice that not all ignition lights will come on, but the engine WILL start, and the batteries will be recharged after a short while.

06 king quad. bat. was dead i went to jump off. bat. leads were both red. hooked up jumpers backward. arced unhooked. battery tests ok. but no power to ignition & display. fuses look ok. won't crank.

Check the electrical box under the hood, it should be black plastic, roughly the size of your hand.
There may be some relays or solenoids or circuit breakers therein that are blown.
God bless your efforts.

Power locks interior lights radio not work

2001 Mazda protege radio and lights in car not working after jumper cable s were hooked up backwards

Connecting jumper cables the wrong wat around most likely has damaged electronic components such as a radio and computer.
Check the fuse box and replace any blown fuses.
If you still have problems then get an auto electrician to fix your car.

Power door locks do not work unless the ignition switch is on, radio and dome lights also do not work.

look for another fuse box in or under dash. still sounds like you have a blown fuse. look in owners manual for all fuse box locations, including underhood electrial center. good luck.

I hooked the battery up backwards by mistake and blew something. Now my dash lights, radio, wipers, etc. wont work. Help!

The most likely problem is a blown fuse. In the under hood fuse block look for a LARGE "maxi" fuse that is blown. If you find a blown one remove it and bring it to the auto parts store to match it up. It will cost about $10 or so.e54c5a9.jpg

Radio wont work but fuse not blown

all cars needing a boost will spark. the best advice is to hook up the dead battery first,,, the then the positive cable to your booster battery,, then the negative cable to some part of the car AWAY from the good battery.. you will know when this connection is good.

Put the battery in backwards. Now the car will not start. I know I blew the starter relay because the lights and radio didn't work inside. I replaced the relay. The inside lights work now. But the car...

Check all of the fuses & relays in BOTH fuse boxes. There's one fuse box under the hood, just 'north' of the battery. There's a second fuse box under the dash.
