The car won't turn over, replaced the stater but thats not the problem, The abs relay is bad and blowing the abs fuse but would that cause the car not to turn over? Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

Could do. I think the ABS relay is housed in the same box as the starter relay. If so, you could have a blown fuse box link. Find the starter relay and see if it clicks when someone else turns the key to start. If not, see if there are volts on to the relay (there should be voltage on one side of the contacts when the ignition is on), there should also be volts on the coil when the ignition is turned to start. If not, check whether there is power to the fuse box (fuse links might have blown). If no power to coil, check gearbox park interlock switch - there is not much that stops a starter motor from turning, even in a sophisticated car like a Jaguar.

I have a 1993 Jaguar xj6 the power brakes are not working. Very hard to stop like manual brakes. They worked until I pressure washed under the hood. All fuses are good best I can tell, ABS relay is good....

I would, Double check your brake fluid level first. Also;

The water from the pressure washer may have made it into 1 or more of the electrical plugs on and/or around the master cylinder. You may try carefully removing the plugs, ( be careful not to break the little plastic clips that hold them in place,) try and use a hair blow dryer to make sure there's no moisture in either end of the plug and then reconnect.

As far as the ABS, ( anti-lock breaking system ), it is a safety and secondary part of your breaking system and usually would not meet emergency statis by itself, however, with your primary breaks also having a warning light on, I absolutely would consider your break issues as an emergency.

I hope this helps.

I just had my starter replaced on my 85 Jaguar XJ6 and sometimes when i go to start it, it makes that sound like when you turn the key and the car is already started and sometimes the starter wont engage...

either the starter is not engaging all the way or there is a bad spot on the ring gear, remove the starter and turn the engine and check the ring gear if its good then look at the starter
