2005 gmc savanna van...cooling system will not blow hot heat. water pump, heater core, radaitor and thrmostate replaced. is there any electrical problems/

don't know this van specifically, but some things to check, make sure cabin filter is replaced or clean, you didn't say if the blower itself works, if not, correct or replace. Check the hoses going to the heater core, if hot water is flowing thru the core, both hoses should be hot. Check the heater controls to make sure doors in the system are opening closing as they should, you may just be drawing in cold air and not going thru the heater core.

Radiator capacity

No such thing radiator capacity because, when you fill up the cooling system of the engine that holds more than the engine. When you fill the radiator to the top till, it spills that it. The small car cooling system hold an of average 2.5 gallons 3 gallons total is the most. Hope this will help you understand radiator capacity. Good luck.

Car heater does not work

State of cooling system, control valve frozen in hoses under hood. I also have poor heating when I put in a new radiator - it works too well.

If you were game you could trace the hoses under the hood and disconnect them then add you garden hose to see if water goes through. if not, you are in for a new heater element.

On one of my cars the valve system under the hood broke as I was inspecting it due to corrosion but at least I was onto the problem.

Water frozen in the engine what is the best way to get it melted when there is no opertunity to get in garage and temperature is below freezing?

I would say hairdryer or heated blanket. Where in the engine is the water frozen? Is it in the engine block or in the radiator. If in the block, then you may need new frost plugs in the engine block. If in the radiator, then you will want to run very hot water through the coolant system with the petcock unscrewed so water can drain out. Does the engine start? Can you run it so the engine heats up and melts the water?

Replaced headgaskets on 95 grand prix 3.4 now overheating

did you by accident put the head gaskests on the wrong side, because they are different, the head blot pattern will line up but the water jacket ports ares lightly different, you may have blocked off cooling ports tot he cylinder heads which will cause the overheating condition you speak of...

Bad radiator

actually just unlpug all the hoses and take any thing than is on the way to remove it, then afer you replace it, some over flow bottles for the cooling systems have, a little plastic bolt by the cooling system cap have the bolt loose while you fill it with coolant and then it will remove any air trap on the cooling system then tie the bolt when system is full and place the cap on.
