2001 accent low prm power loss

2001 hyundai accent have check engine flashing and seems to have power loss at low rmp and i give more gas and it burps a little bit and motor shake (dont know if it helps) ... but higher rpm the it runs great like 3000 + rpm ... i just emptied the catalytic converter because it turned red may be because of my main problem but at first i had major power loss at any rpm now i sloved the power loss at high rpm im still stuck with power loss at low rpm can you help me if you need more info i can answer a specific question but sorry i dont exactly what's pertinent or not at the moment...

Did you scan the ECU for any trouble codes? that would be helpful. If you find you have misfire codes (P0300 - Random Misfire, or, P0301 - P0306 - specific cylinder), this would also be helpful. You say you 'emptied' the catalytic converter - ?? what do you mean?

if check engine light is flashing u probably have a missfire code,it can be caused by 1 cylinder or it can be a random missfire,youll have to scan car ecm to know.

it means you are doing irrepairable damage to the catalytic converter, you should take your car and have the trouble codes retrieved, sounds like you need an Oxygen sensor

Error code p1403

p1403 is a problem with the DTML sensor ... thats associated with the charcoal canister ... that is often caused by putting too much gas in the tank (overfilling) ... gas gets into the charcoal canister and contaminates it .. you could also have a bad sensor .. there are two .. one on the throttle body the other on the engine .. sometimes the wiring going to these sensors gets corroded or damaged .. contamination in the canister may clear itself in time if you avoid overfilling ..

I own a 2000 hyundai accent a while back the engine light came on at the time it did not affect the car..but as time went on when I would climb a hill or down shift to pass a vehicle the engine light would...

Could be two things (both of them, not just one):
The ECM is responsible for advancing the ignition timing to give your car a boost when passing.

The EGR is not operating the exhaust valve correctly. It is supposed to close the valve when idling and open otherwise. This mor affects idle, not so much driving.

Have the engine code checked at AutoZone free and get the codes and explanation from them. We will analyze the codes based on your description of the problem(s).

I change the filter of gas to my hyundai accent 2001, After of change the engine not starts, I have to disconnect in maf sensor to work,! What that happens this?

Seems you didn't understand what you wrote, much less what you meant. Tell you what, happens what this is not maf problem sensor or gas filter problem after replace you filter... after replace you filter, get expert to replace filter he then not go party with not start.

Hyundai Accent losing power when hot

sometimes loss of power can be caused by a clogged catalytic converter which can make the car at times hesitate, and about the trasmission maybe the governor on it might be faulty what that does it changes the gears when it reaches certain speed

Will not start;will crankover

Step 1. Find a OBDII scanner (OBD stands for On-Borard-Diagnostics). Find out what DTC code (or codes) are stored in the ECU (DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code, and ECU = Engine Control Unit - it's the computer which manages engine operation).
Step 2. After you find out which code is stored in the ECU, go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register your veh (by VIN). Afterward, you can navigate the Hyundai Service Site to find out what system is giving you problems, the diagnosis procedure and what may be needed to fix it.

Loss of Engine oil

The car either has to be leaking oil, or burning it out the exhaust. You should check to see if there is oil on the bottom of the engine. If clean, it can be burning oil cause rings or shot, emisssion system sucking it back through the engine, etc. Your engine should be in good condition since only 55K miles, unless it got overheated or something.
