Where is the camshaft position sensor on a 1998 Dodge Dakota 5.2L

The camshaft position sensor is located on the distributor for all engines designed for the 1998 Dodge Dakota. Accessing the sensor requires removing the distributor cap and the distributor rotor. The camshaft sensor pigtail comes through the front of the distributor and connects to the engine wiring harness above the intake manifold.

My 2003 Nissan Frontier stalled and will not crank up when I. Scanned it the P0325 and P0340 codes appeared. How do I fix this?

I would say that the P0340 is causing your no start problem.....This is a cam sensor code......The cam sensor is in the distributor and is not servicable.....I would recommend taking it to a repair shop to properly diagnose the problem before replacing the distributor.

I have a 05 Dodge ram 1500 90,000mi. and it start to bog and eng.light came on my codes were p0129-p0405-p0340-p0868 and pending codes were p0129-p0325-p0330-p0405-p0340. I had put a new map sensor in...

P0340 is for camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction so the problem can be in you hav already changed sensor, then you need to check wiring from sensor to ecu and if the wires are ok than check the ecu! It can be either of them cousing the problem.
