Firing oders 4.6 litres ford f 150 2005 - F Ford Cars & Trucks

2005 5.4 expedition is 1326548 --standing in front- to your left are 4 plugs designated as 1234 and the right side is 5678,

I sugest check crank / camshaft sensor positions, battery charge, starter and ignition switch. Also fuel pressure.

Some aftermark or antitheft sysrtem there?

1243 is the normal ford firing order for a 4 cyl engine but it could be 1342 as well ,not sure which one it is

255 cid (4.2L), 302 cid (5.0L), 360 cid (5.9L), 390 cid (6.5L), 460 cid (7.5L) V8 engines Firing order: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 Distributor rotation: Counterclockwise




351 cid W & M (5.8L), 400 (6.6L) engines Firing order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Distributor rotation: Counterclockwise

1. 4 cylinder firing oder is 1-4-3-2
2. 6 cylinder firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2
3. 8 cylinder firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
4. firing order goes clock wise

For ALL 2001 Ford F150 Triton V8 5.4L 2-Valve:

1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

Cylinders:

well do not no if its an 8cy or 6cy but if 6cy its 142536 if 8cy 13726548 looking at motor 1234is on passengers side 5678 on driver same gose for the six cylinder

Firing order is 1-3-4-2. Distributor rotation is clockwise. Engine timing is 5 degrees BTDC.

follow the spark plug wire back to it

EF & EL are 1,5,3,6,2,4
EF has a coil pack under the inlet manifold the EL has a distributor
EF uses a waste spark system so 2 plugs are fired at the same time eg 1 & 6 - 2 & 5 - 3 & 4
