fuse box, there are 2, one (LHD car) at left ankle
and one in engine bay. LHD = left hand drive,
even causal looking finds both, do look.

in order to do this job properly you need special recovery equipment to recover the freon and after the job you need to have a vacuum pump put on the system to get all the air out and check for leaks prior to charging
what you can do is have a shop recover the freon then go home and do the work your self then go back to the shop and have them pull a vacuum on it then charge it

you can charge the system your self but if you dont pull a vacuum it will never blow very cold

is it the evaporator leaking or the expansion valve leaking or both?

get your self a good repair manual and it will walk you through either of these jobs

it would cost somewhere around $1.200- to 2.000 dollars call around to different repair shop and see if you can find a good deal or someone who can do it on the side for you and try this website to see if your car is listed it www.autozone.com or pickup a haynes auto repair manual and you see its not hard to do.
