My truck keep falling deed at stop sign and red light i change the crankshaft ckp sensor but im still having the same problem with it doind the same thing need urget help.

I was told that it might be in the mass air flow maf sensor so im trying to find out would that solve the problem. need a answer to this question about my truck keep falling deed when it do that, i can start it right back up and go on but when i stop for the red light it fall deed.

Vacuum leak or blocked filter is more likely the problem, idle is controlled by the vacuum. if its losing vacuum it will not hold the valve open to let air flow though. look for cracked or split vacuum lines. can even be a damaged diaphragm, not holding.

i will try to help. 171/174 indicates lean condition in engine. the mass air flow sensor is located in the rubber tube going to throttlebody. you can try to clean it. using mild carb cleaner safe for sensors, remove sensor from tube. spray clean the tiny wires located in the cylinder. do not touch them, they are very delicate. these engines are also notorious for leaking intake gaskets and faulty pcv valves. these will all set these 2 codes. feel free with anymore questions.

Okay so the more oxygen in the exhaust (lean condition) the lower the voltage from the O2 sensor and the more fuel the computer calls for. Then the oxygen content in the exhaust drops (because it is being used up in the combustion process), and the voltage increases (rich condition) and the process repeats, for as long as the car is running, hundreds of times a minute. A gasoline internal combustion engine needs oxygen to burn the fuel. If the mixture is ideal (or 14.7:1) then all of the oxygen is consumed as the fuel is burned. The exact amount of fuel needed to produce a 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio varies with barometric pressure (altitude), relative humidity and fuel quality and condition; thus the need for oxygen sensors.

So knowing all of this what should we check when we have those pesky rich or lean codes? The most common issues for lean codes are:

1. Vacuum leaks - check for failed or loose vacuum lines, leaking intake gaskets, intake air tubes loose or any other source of un-metered air leaks (leaks after the Mass Air Flow Sensor) 
2. Restricted fuel filter or bent/pinched fuel system lines 
3. Incorrect input from other sensors, such as the Mass Air Flow Sensor, which may not always drop a separate code 
4. Engine misfire – Yes I know this one may seem weird. You might think that if there is a misfire then you will have all that unburned fuel and it should read rich; right? Well the O2 sensors read only oxygen content in the exhaust, so if you have all that unburned fuel from incomplete combustion then, you guessed it, you also have all that unburned oxygen. High O2 content in exhaust equals a lean reading!

There are also some other possibilities such as an internally leaking EGR system, (but this will typically set a separate code). A leak in the exhaust system before the O2 sensor will also cause incorrect readings. And always check for after- market modifications. These can throw a wrench into the works! The only other possibilities (however unlikely), are wiring issues, computer concerns or a bad O2 sensor!

P0174 is a Lean condition on the side of the engine where cylinder # 2 is. Good luck and hope this helps.

Circuit Description
The crankshaft position (CKP) sensor is a sensor designed to detect changes in a magnetic field. The control module supplies the CKP sensor a signal and ground circuits. Ignition voltage is supplied to the sensor by an independent circuit. The CKP sensor produces a magnetic field whenever the ignition is ON. The CKP sensor is mounted near a reluctor wheel that is attached to the crankshaft. When the crankshaft rotates, when the engine is cranking or running, the toothed reluctor wheel changes the magnetic field. The CKP sensor converts each change in the magnetic field into a PULSE. The number of teeth on the reluctor wheel determines how many pulses the CKP sensor detects per crankshaft rotation. The CKP sensor signal is used in order to determine the engine speed, the crankshaft position, and to detect misfire.
If the VCM does not detect a CKP signal during engine cranking for a predetermined amount of time, this DTC will be set.

Left side of engine compartment, lower rear of engine block, above transmission

Remove the exhaust manifold lower heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Lower Heat Shield Replacement .
Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (4).

Only has one crankshaft position sensor ,an cam sensors . To change the crank sensor u would have to pull the starter ,located above starter .

What is code p0727

Possible causes
- Faulty Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

P1335 CHEVROLET Description
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor sends pulses to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) as the reluctor wheel teeth rotate past the CKP sensor. The PCM uses the CKP pulses to synchronize the ignition and fuel injector operation, and to time the interval between each CKP pulse. The PCM determines when an excessive change in crankshaft speed occurs by comparing each new time interval with the previous interval. A misfire causes an unexpected change in the crankshaft speed. A certain amount of acceleration/deceleration is expected between each firing stroke, but if the crankshaft speed changes more than an expected amount, the PCM interprets this as a misfire. The interval between CKP sensor pulses is extremely small. At high engine speeds, slight variations in the following components make misfire detection difficult:
- Crankshaft
- Reluctor wheel
- CKP sensor
The PCM learns variations during the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learning Procedure. The PCM compensates for these variations when performing detect misfire calculations. Only a scan tool can command the PCM to perform the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learning Procedure again.
Perform the learning procedure after the following actions:
- A PCM replacement
- Any operation or repair involving the crankshaft, the CKP sensor, or the CKP sensor to reluctor wheel gap relationship.
- An engine replacement.
- The ignition switch is in the ON position until the battery is drained.

My 2004 expedition keep falling deed me when i stop at a redlight or a stop sign i've cange the p320 crankshaft position sensor but the still falling deed and the check engine light is on so i was told i...

If the problem is a closed throttle issue, check and clean the idle air control. My Ford info says if you suspect the maf sensor, with everything off, unplug the maf sensor. Start the vehicle and take it for a spin. If it does better, you may have to check out the maf system. Sensor--wiring connector--wiring circuit and computer.
The code doesn't tell you what to replace, just that the computer thinks there is a problem on that system, somewhere. I usually check sensor wiring circuits before I replace anything. I usually check crank and cam sensors both when there is a code for either one. Just my opinion.

simple test to do
apply the hand brake
start the engine --if it idles ok --no engine problem
apply the foot brake --if it stalls ---replace the brake booster
if it runs ok --run the fault codes

Replaced camshaft and crankshaft position sensors in my 2005 altima also the o2 seneor car still will not run. error code 335 What else could be the problem?

DTC P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
The crankshaft position sensor (CKP) measures crankshaft location and relays this information to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). Depending on the vehicle, the PCM uses this crankshaft position information to time the spark properly or on some systems it is only for misfire detection and does not control spark timing. The CKP sensor is stationary and works in harmony with a reluctor ring (or toothed ring) that is attached to the crankshaft. As this reluctor ring passes in front of the CKP sensor, the magnetic field created by the CKP sensor is interrupted and this creates a square wave voltage signal that the PCM interprets as crankshaft position. If the PCM detects that there are no crankshaft pulses or if it sees a problem with the pulses on the output circuit, P0335 will set.

A P0335 "check engine light" code could be caused by:
Damaged CKP sensor connector
Damaged reluctor ring (missing teeth or not turning due to sheared-off keyway)
Sensor output open
Sensor output shorted to ground
Sensor output shorted to voltage
Failed crank sensor
Broken timing belt
Failed PCM

P0725 NISSAN - Engine Speed Signal

The P0725 Codes is triggered when TCM does not receive the engine speed signal from ECM.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the engine speed through the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor with the engine running, and send signal to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).

Symptoms:
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

Possible causes:
- Open or shorted CKP sensor circuit condition
- Poor CKP sensor electrical connection
- Check communication error between the ECM and TCM
- Failed CKP Sensor

Possible solution:
Very common problem with Nissan vehicles, usually replacing the Crankshaft Position sensor takes care of the problem.
