fuel pressure problem.when you kill it it is supposed to hold pressure.your getting air in it.not good. take to a mechanic. its a deep problem

Unless the engine was replaced , from original the 4,0L petrol engine is a V8 with a code of 42D and not a V6

You'll have to call the dealer have them pull the VIN to see if you have the latest and greatest software. Also you can check on the land rover website under owners put in the last 8 digits of your vin number and it will tell you if the BB8900 is fully compatible.
