Hi, my Tiguan's windows opened on their own with the car locked, the rain has soaked the inside of my car. Do you think it may be the rain sensor at fault?
No,without being offensive, you played with the remote key, without knowing,in your pocket, pushing against something,in your coat, someone sit on it.....but the rain sensor really,is out of power with the key off,so can never give trouble, powered over the 51 by positive, and signaled on the negative,so never with power off, there can be a disturbance....
Testimonial: "Thankyou for your reply, I understand your explanation but the car had been parked outside all day with the windows closed and doors locked,at lunch time the windows were still closed but 3 hours later later my neighbor knocked my door to tell me the windows were open. The remote was not in my pocket or being handled by anyone, at the moment I am lost how to explain it. Checking the car this morning I now find I have no auto hold or parking brake I can only assume water has got in somewhere causing this new problem. Any further suggestions would be most helpful."
