Where is the fuel sensor on a 2006 kia optima

It depends on WHICH fuel sensor are you looking for. The fuel level sensor is part of the fuel pump module assembly, which is located INSIDE the fuel tank. The fuel temperature sensor is mounted in the TOP of the fuel tank.
Note: The fuel teperature sensor only applies to early production 2.4L engines. Other 2006 Kia Optima's are not equipped with one.

Where is the crank shaft sensor on a 2006 kia optima

Hi LIsa:
On 2001-2005 vehicles the crankshaft sensor is mounted on the front of the transmission case adjacent to the flywheel.

On 2006 vehicles the crankshaft position sensor is located next to the radiator hose inlet and outlet assembly.

I really hope this helps, and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Have a nice day and thanks for using FixYa.

Jose.
