SOURCE: Door will not slide automatically; emits loud beeping noise

Something similar to that was happening with our Odyssey...the beeping when you are driving whether it's ongoing or intermittent is the "safety alarm" letting you know the door is not closed. The power lock is not engaging. What I do when I get the beeping while driving is hit the Door Close button. It causes the door to attempt to engage again. To fix it...we first cleaned out the space below the side running board (kids were hiding crayons and things in there), then looked for any obstructions along the top and bottom tracks. I sprayed a lubricant along the tracks (I'd suggest the dry lube kind...I used WD40 the 1st time and had streaks of it dripping down after driving), use a lube that has a long straw to spray in small places...and spray up into the track that runs the length of the middle of the car. Manually open and shut it a few times to get the tracks lubed, then try it out.
If you press the open OR close button by remote or in the car and get nothing...no movement/no noises/no beeping...then it could be the electrical circuit itself, the signal itself may be impeded...or the motor shot. Have you tried any of these suggestions before?

SOURCE: Drivers Door Lock Problem

You will probably need to replace the power door lock actuator.

Here's a link to one similar to yours.

You can probably get a used one from a salvage yard.

Cannot open drivers door of my 1996 honda crv automatic using key or from inside. having to climb over from passenger side to drive and get out again.

Sue we arn't talking keyless entrey here .
Then if the key works in the other locks it must be good not worn out .
Witch leaves the lock cylinder on the drivers door or the mechinizam that moves the rods inside of the door to lock and unlock it .
Dose the key feel like it fits ok and the lock turn normally .If so that leaves the mechinizam inside the door .
Its not the end of the world likely something popped off or a little plastic clip broke that holds the rod in place .
The door needs to be taken apart from the inside witch means it needs to be open to repair .Its like a caught 22 can't fix it unless its open but can't open it .
There are ways slim jim or the old coat hanger way if you can roll the window down think about it do a little reserach it can be opened with out distroying the door

2000 cadillac deville driver side won't open with the key

1) Key turns but dose not unlock door. This means that the rod that goes to the back of the lock has came off. This also means that is the reason door is not unlocking with the remote as it pops the lock rod inside the door which pushes the lock open.
2) Key does not turn lock at all but works passengers side door. This means that the locks has been changed in the door, but that doesn't sound like the problem as you say the remote doesn't open the drivers side door so more than likely the rod has came off the back of the lock

will your key work in the passengers side?
If so I asume you have electric door locks. open drivers door from inside shut the passengers door. go around to the drivers side shut the door lock the doors from inside then unlock the doors open door shut door and try to start it...as far as disableing it you will have to take it to nissan electrical tec.

Car doors wont lock with remote

Sounds like the rod that goes from the lock to the key came off. There is usually a little plastic clip that holds it together and they break and you get what you are experiencing. You have to take the inside panel off of the door to get inside it.
