This light is warning you of a serious issue concerning a failed sensor in the engine. you will need to run this vehicle in the nearest dealership for a diagnostic scan on the ecm/pcm device. this scan will give detailed info on the location of the problem and how to fix it. this scan cpu will also reset the light and it will shut off once the issue is fixed.
If you just want to shut the light off, you can just pull the battery post for a minute. this will reset the ecm but, if the issue is not fixed, the light will come back on in the coming days.

Same engine?
This has nothing to do with you O2 sensor. You have more than one problem. An O2 sensor will not cause what you just described. It will cause a check engine light but not the dimming of lights and a stalling issue. Check your charging sytem ( battery and alternator )
there are a few different engines. A 3 liter with or without a distributor, and a 3.5 liter. All V-6 engines have firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6. See figures below:
its an egr CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION which means can be any type of problem with the whole circuit -- wiring --connections fuses relays etc not just the egr valve more than likely the valve was good need to check and test the whole egr system
