Program factory remote keyless entry for 2003 Hyundai XG350

I saw instructions for programming the factory remote keyless entry on my 2003 Hyundai XG350 as follows:

1. ACCESS ALARM SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE LOCATED BEHIND DRIVER'S SIDE FASCIA PANEL
2. ENSURE MEMORY SWITCH IS IN OFF POSITION.
3. TURN IGNITON TO ON
4. WAIT 5 SECONDS, SET MEMORY SWITCH TO SET POSITION.
5. PUSH REMOTE LCOK BUTTON TO SEND CODE TO ALARM SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE

I do NOT know where the driver's side fascia panel is (or how to remove it).

Can anyone help?

Thanks so much

Guy

Program 2005 Hyundai Tucson remote keyless entry fob.

You will need to seek out a professional to program your 2005 Hyundai Tuscon keyless entry remote since it requires special equipment to program. I would suggest calling a few local locksmiths and price shop, they are usually a bit more affordable than the dealer. Better yet, if you have a mechanic you usually go to, see if they can do it for you.

Another way to save some cash with keyless entry remotes is to Purchase A Key Fob online.

How to Program Keyless Entry Remotes in a Hyundai Sonata By Christian Killian, eHow Contributor
20Found This Helpful The keyless entry system in your Hyundai Sonata is part of the factory alarm system. If you have to replace a lost or damaged remote, reprogramming will be necessary. The remote is important because not only does it lock and unlock the doors, it also arms and disarms that factory alarm when you open or close your car doors. New remotes are available from any Hyundai dealer. While they will program it for you, you can do it yourself and save a programming fee.

2001 mustang keyless entry not working properly what do I do

You did it like this ?
Programming -Keyless Entry Remote Transmitter NOTE: All keyless entry remote transmitters (15K601) must be programmed at the same time.
NOTE: All previous transmitter identification codes (TIC's) will be erased when programming mode is entered.
NOTE: To program (or reprogram) the keyless entry remote transmitters into the generic electronic module (GEM)(14B204), perform the following steps.
  1. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN eight times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN. If the GEM has successfully entered program mode, it will lock and unlock all the doors.
  1. NOTE: The first TIC must be entered within 7.5 seconds of entering the program mode and additional TICs must be entered within 7.5 seconds of the first TIC. The programming mode is exited whenever the timing constraints are not met. Press any button on a keyless entry remote transmitter, and the doors will lock and then unlock to confirm that each keyless entry remote transmitter has been programmed.
  1. If the door locks do not respond for any keyless entry remote transmitter, wait for several seconds and press the button again.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, or wait up to five minutes after step 1, to exit program mode. If a keyless entry remote transmitter has been programmed (or reprogrammed), the GEM will lock and unlock all the doors one last time.

Program factory remote keyless entry: 2003 Hyundai XG350

The procedures you list require the Hyundai Keyless Remote programming module, which you don't have. This module is proprietary - only Hyundai Dealerships have it. There is a 10 pin connector under the dash (next to the DLC - Data Link Connector) which is used to connect the Keyless Remote Programming Module. This module has two switch positions "Ready" and "SAVE". When the switch is place in the 'SAVE" position, that's when the keyless remotes are activated to send their 'codes' to the Electronic Time and Control System (ETACS). The module's switch is then set to "Ready" and the remote is tested to see if it works properly.
