SOURCE: Can't find headlight adjustment screws

They nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

Testimonial: "The adjustment screw (for passenger side) is located between the battery & frame's second hole. Turning counter-clockwise, it adjusts downwards,Thanks"

SOURCE: Adjust Headlights Horizontally in Hyundai Sonata 2002

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

Location of horn on 2012 Hyundai tucson

The Horn is under the hood just remove the screws holding the radiator cover, I don't think it's necessary to remove all of them, just the drivers side, enough to be able to remove the headlight assembly. Then there's 3 bolts holding the headlight assembly, on top 1-10mm, & 1-12mm they are right on top, & quite visible, next underneath there is another 10mm bolt about the middle, in sideways, (check pix) just remove these, and the headlight elect plug (push down on the back of the plug clip to release) now, just sort of jostle the headlight back, & forward (but forward a bit more) while lifting it, and pulling back the loose radiator cover to clear, and it should come right out

Need to adjust the low beams on my '02 Hyundai

Headlight adjustment is fairly straight forward, you will need to park the car on a level surface with a fence or wall 25 feet away and a reference point for measurements to the right or left of the car. First measure from the reference point to the center line of the car then transfer that to the wall, second, measure from the center of the car to the center of the headlights and transfer those to the wall, third, measure from the ground to the center of the headlights and transfer that to the wall. Once all of the reference points have been transferred, adjust the left (driver's side) headlight so that the most intense part of the beam is 2 inches below and 2 inches to the right of the left mark, the right (passenger side) headlight should be adjusted so that it will be 2 inches below and 1 inch to the left of the mark. If done correctly, you will have very good night vision without blinding oncoming traffic.

P.S. Please note that any heavy objects in the car will be a factor in correct headlight adjustment, have the car loaded as it will be normally used.

How I adjust headlights on a 1999 grand am?

  • Determine the type of headlights you have on your car. You can only adjust composite headlights if they bolt to adjuster plates. For dual headlights, look on the headlights for four adjustment screws per side. Sealed beam units have interior adjustment screws under the hood.
  • 4 Locate your adjustment screws. On sealed beam units, you may need to remove the trim screws and pull the trim off to reveal the Torx screws.
  • 5 Begin with you headlights turned on to the low beam. Use a Torx screwdriver for sealed beam units and Phillips screwdrivers for other types of headlights.
