If you have a cable throttle then not likely, if you look at your throttle body and it is electronic then it could be the throttle body position sensor or possibly the accelerator pedal sensor. Are the any DTC codes present on your truck (check engine lights) cause both of these issues have sensors the will most likely trigger a code light on the dash. If not light comes on I would have it scanned just to make sure it doesn't have any codes stored in memory

SOURCE: The reduce engine power plus

the problem is usually find is a broken wire in the harness near the throttle body leading to the throttle body connector, most of the time the wire won't look broken but when you put tension on it then the sheathing will break. most of the time it is the yellow wire. it is a very common problem on these, and I see alot of un needed throttle body replacements

SOURCE: no power steering and stabilitrak

You may be entitle to a campaign about ESC/steering module relearning, what happens if you leave the key in the ACC position for 2 seconds without starting the ESC is disable until you restart the vehicle. Here is the letter to owner number 07224A070911-005 , Hopefully this is still active and they should not charge you anything

2012 Buick Enclave, dash reads Traction control off, service stabilitrak. Engine power reduced... why????

Engine power reduced... is the main problem ,this turned off Traction control off, service stabilitrak. Your vehicle has electronic throttle control , The Gas pedal has sensors inside which are connected by electrical circuits to the PCM - engine computer ,the PCM use's these inputs to control the throttle plate by use of a 12 volt DC motor . Plus there are position sensors on the throttle body for feed back to the PCM. When one of these signals is off The PCM will put the system into reduced power mode . This will also set DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

Service stabilitrak and reduce engine power on my 2012 chevy equinox and suggestions on what it could be also had a bunch of codes for timing position and I replaced all timing components

The reduced engine power light is most likely setting the stabilitrack light to come on. The reduced engine power light is normally set when the computer senses an issue with the throttle actuator assembly. This actuator assembly needs a corolation signal from the gas pedal sensor to operate properly. In my opinion and experience in the automotive repair industry, the throttle actuator assembly is more prone to failure than the gas pedal sensor.

Equinox stabilitrak

both the systems use the same sensor and rotor on the wheels so the problem points to loose wires/broken wires or dirt between the sensor and the rotor . You will have to check all wheels to find the fault . By your statement that it occurs on turning I would be paying serious attention to the front wheels as this is where dirt. sticks and other stuff can break or disconnect the wires.

Service stabilitrak service traction control and reduced engine power only in cold weather

Is there underhood heat shield material removed? Condensation can form under the hood can drip onto electrical connectors.
Check each connectors for corrosion.

Stability track

This is a common problem with GM's. The TPS sensor goes bad in the throttle body. Throws out a message to service Stabilitrac. Not SO!!!
The kicker is that the whole throttle body has to be replaced because the TPS sensor is actually part of the throttle body!!! Costs around $250.00 for aftermarket.

2007 chevy avalanche, leaves me stranded or limping home about every 6 months, first code says, traction control off, next code says ,service stabilitrak and the last code says...engine power reduced.its been...

These are not codes , they are warning lights , telling you the driver that a problem exist . code says, traction control off, next code says ,service stabilitrak and the last code says...engine power reduced. DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes could be stored in the control modules that control these system's . The main problem is more then likely with the reduced engine power. This is because of a problem with the electronic throttle control system . This problem will turn off these other thing's , turning on their light's .
Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description
All newer vehicles have this ! There are position sensors in the Gas pedal and on the throttle body on the engine , The computer uses a DC volt electric motor to make the vehicle go . The sensors wear over time , the motor can wear , wiring can break etc...
Reduced Engine Power Mode
When the ECM detects a condition with the TAC system, the ECM may enter a reduced engine power mode. Reduced engine power may cause one or more of the following conditions:
• Acceleration limiting--The ECM will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the vehicle acceleration is limited.
• Limited throttle mode--The ECM will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the maximum throttle opening is limited.
• Throttle default mode--The ECM will turn off the throttle actuator motor and the throttle will return to the spring loaded default position.
• Forced idle mode--The ECM will perform the following actions:
- Limit engine speed to idle by positioning the throttle position, or by controlling the fuel and spark if the throttle is turned off.
- Ignore the accelerator pedal input.
• Engine shutdown mode--The ECM will disable fuel and de-energize the throttle actuator.
