96 chev blazer engages,starts and sparks but wont run

How about the fuel pump...are you getting the fuel to the cylinders? Is the fuel making it through the fuel line through the fuel filter? Drop a few drops in 1 cylinder, if it fires, you have a fuel problem. Does it turn over? If not check out the motor starter!

In the past I have seen fuel pumps that would run on the bench but wouldn't work in the gas tank. Sometimes you can bang on the gas tank and get the pump to start working, the problem is usually bad brushes. In the past I have cut open an electric fuel pump, those little brushes were wore down to the nub.
If you have good voltage and ground at the fuel pump and no pump action, suspect the fuel pump. Fuel filter is good, I didn't look to see if inline fuel filter? Fuel lines aren't clogged? Don't disconnect any fuel lines unless your sure, no fuel pressure.

if you know its getting fuel then lest talk about spark check the spark plug wires and the spark plugs if you got spark see if your getting air check the air filter if its to dirty it wont start beacuse clean air wont come through

Have you checked to see if you have spark at the spark plug when the engine is rolling over?.

Have you checked the coil?

Fuel filters do not clog up like they used to because unleaded gas is so clean.You should try the fuel pump relay first.Greg

Injector pulsation in control by your E.C.M quade driver none repairable computer just get's replace to fix the problem, good luck. Also one more thing check your E.C.M fuse.

put on a fuel filter that is cheap and it wont hurt a thing

if u have no pressure from pump but pump is making noise,its a badly blocked fuel filter,leaking fuel line or pump is defect!

Time to replace the fuel filter. It's not a hard job actually. And it's a VERY common thing to go wrong. I'd change the fuel filter and then run some fuel treatment through the tank afterwards. Believe it or not, I've noticed that a nice bottle of fuel treatment really conditions a fuel filter well.
