THE AC ON A 2004 LINCOLN LS RUNNING IN THE AUTO MODE MOST OF THE AIR BLOWS OUT AT YOUR FEET AIR IS COMING OUT OF VENTS IN DASH BUT NOT LIKE THEY SHOULD. yOU CAN MOVE SELECTOR PUSH BUTTON TO DEFROST AND IT THEN GOES TO DEFROST LIKE NORMAL AIR LEAVING THE FLOOR VENT TO TOP BY WINDSHIELD. pUT BACK INTO AUTO SAME AIR AT FEET. IF YOU GO TO PANEL VENT ONLY OFF OF AUTO IT COMES OUT A LITTLE HARDER WITH LESS COMING OUT OF BOTTOM VENTS BUT STILL AIR ISNT BLOWING HARD AS IT SHOULD. i CANT FIND ANY PICTURES OF THIS SYSTEM OR HOW IT WORKS THE CHILTON MANUEL DOESNT GO INTO ANY OF THIS. aNY IDEAS?
You have an operating trampilla ,sorry i only know the word in spanish, the valve thats worked by engine vacumn it opens the vent flap ,the block connection for the vacumn pipe has a series of electrical operating relays that open the valve that lets the vacumn through to the appropiate vents where it opens the trampilla .The fault could lie in either the clima computer or a relay valve or the rubber diaphragm in the trampilla, best of british with it
