Ok i have a 1986 toyota corolla it idles rough and dies at stoplights and smokes a little blue smoke when first started. I have put new spark plugs,wires,dist cap,feul filter,feul pump and have run carb cleaner in gas,cleaned out EGR valve,checked most vacum lines and it is still doing it. It seems engine temp has been slightly lower since I have had this problem. Can anyone help me. it is also an automatic.
Well you could try to get a vacuum gauge and see if your car reads what it supposed to and if you buy one it could tell you what it could be.
Spray some crc around your inlet manifold/ lower carby area with it idling. If it starts to idle well it's a air leak. Or adjust your tappet clearances if this doesn't help
