Mercedes are the only manufacturer to have 8 or 10 fuse boxes :>D Don't forget the radio is also connected and monitored by the BCM.

their are some electrical issues with s320 throttle valve electric failure --coil pack failure -- check fuses and relays then check battery and connections and try to start with boost if starts check and test battery and alternator --and check the wiring connections for loose , frayed , damaged ,and corrosion the following link are some of the problems acossiated with your vehicle

sounds like a broken wire a bad ground... Try looking up a YouTube video on that I've found that helpful before .. good luck

The Starter Cutoff Relay is located:Front seating area, center, under dash, mounted in fuse block.

The original fuse diagram was wrapped around a tool in the trunk kit of the vehicle. Why???

seems to be faulty centerlocking pump which is under the right rear seat, remove rear seat cushion then have look at right there is center locking pump, it has coverd by sponge box, open sponge box and remove wiring socket from pump and install fuse then have a look, if fuse not blow now faulty pump, replace pump, if fuse still blowing could be wiring short circuit from some where, need to be diagnose, is this information helped you, i am from New Zealand too. have a good labour week end,

you have a short. maybe in your alarm unit itself try to locate the control box for the alarm and unplug the starter kill relay and bypass it then try starting the car.
