Aspen limited hybrid, 5.7L engine. Front wheel drive, the starter appears to be on backside of engine, down low. You'll probably have to safely raise and support the vehicle to get at starter motor. Anytime your working under a vehicle there are safety issues, safety is your responsibility. This database isn't always correct, if the picture is wrong, my bad.

What type of noise? Hum, popping, crackling, etc.

Make shur that your lights are not on in your glove box ! My trans am was doing the same ! But it was the body control module!

above the throttle pedal there is a wire box, with ignition off and battery disconnected unplug the connector.and clean the connections with some switch cleaner,, give it a good spray even in the little breath holes. and move the pedal up and down. leave for 10 to 40 min to dry and reconnect this plug first and then the battery. then try to start engine.

Sounds like fuses
