SOURCE: subaru legacy 1995 entire right

Its a matter of time, if the boot is cracked then the grease inside can come out, when that happens its a downhill slide. Ive seen people drive like that for a long time but eventually it will break. When it does that car will be stuck whereever it broke.

2005 Citreon C2 1.1 petrol. Key chip broken on unlock, can unlock drivers door manually but cannot open passenger door from inside or outside. I need to open passenger door, any ideas please

Has the Central Locking button on the dashboard stopped working? Have you checked the fuse for the locking systems in the fuse box in the dashboard fuse panel. The panel is located in the LEFT foot well at about knee height when sitting. On LEFT hand drive cars it's behind a trim panel next to the driver's left knee. On RIGHT hand drive cars it's inside the glovebox behind a small trim panel.
Fuse 15 at 30A rating. try this website for more details.

Location of a fuel pump relay and the fuel gauge relay on subaru legacy BP5 year 2006

Most of the relays are under the black cover that sits right behind the battery in right hand drive cars. Take the cover off, turn it over and read the inside of it, it will tell you what fuses and relays are there.

1997 subaru legacy with awd transmission - driveshaft has been removed due to bad u-joints and trans. locked up the front wheels. What do we need to unlock them?

I have a 93 legacy. Subaru's always run in front wheel drive until a sensor tells the computer the front wheels are not turning the same speed as the rear wheels( spining on ice or sand etc.). At that point all wheels will be driven though a clutch to the rear wheels. This is not good if the car needs to be towed with the front wheels in the air! This "all wheel drive" can be shut down for towing. Under the hood on my 93, there is an in line fuse holder on the pass. side of car behind the front strut mount. Open the top of the holder and it will be empty, put in a fuse (10 or 20 amp or close) , this completes a circuit and shuts down the rear wheels. I don't know if the your 97 has this in the same place, but it must have one some place. hope this can help you.

My 1997 Subaru Outback Legacy Limited started jerking when in Drive- between first and 2nd gears. I then started driving in 2nd / 3rd, then drive. When in traffic very long time, would not engage at all...

Sounds like the transmission has reached the end of service life. I have a 93 that did the same thing. It would drive until the transmission heated up then nothing, except for reverse. I had a TRW rebuild transmission installed and now my 93 Legacy has 500,000 miles. $2,200 to repair vs $25,000 to replace. The only thing you would miss is the new car smell for a few weeks. But you can keep $20,000 plus.
