Condensation in my headlight

An easier option would be to remove the bulb covers (usually rubber) from the back of the headlight to let some air in and leave it off for a few days this should clear it ,I'm not sure if you can remove the front lens from the headlight easily

Use a hair dryer from the outside or leave the headlights on to dry out the moisture. Check the lens assembly for any cracks allowing water in.

Condensation in a headlight assembly usually means a crack or split in the assembly somewhere.Remove the assembly and use a hair dryer to dry it out. Go along to an auto supply store and get some "seam seal" (not silicone) and a silicone based lubricant.Spread the seam seal around the join in the headlight assembly and let it dry up.This is usually overnight.Take the silicone lubricant and apply it to the rubber gasket around each light bulb.DO NOT get the lubricant on the bulbs. Replace the bulbs in the assembly.This should solve your problem. Good luck

Check for a rubber piece (seal), that goes between the headlight housing and the socket. It may be missing, broken or installed incorrectly. Check the pasenger side to see the rubber seal. I piece is in place, check socket's (2) locking tabs and headlight housing, some times one breaks and no water tight seal is achieved.

the seals on the headlight assembly are letting condensation enter and build up,you can either replace the assembly or cheat and take a drill with a small bit and drill a hole down low in the assembly where it won't be seen to drain the fluid.and having a vent hole will prevent the fluid build up again.

Go around all the edges of the lens with clear silicone on your finger after you've left it running with the headlights on for 20 minutes. Then shut it off and change both of the headlight bulbs. If you have any crazy modifications to the lens like strobes or flashers of some kind that didn't come factory you'll have to silicone around them as well, as they are a great source for trouble.

yes you can do it ,change the headlight and see if fits good if not try some silicon around the rubber ring of the headlight,good luck

most of the time the headlight assemblys are replaced because of this at my work (toyota dealeraship ) but i would try to take apart the headlight assembly very carefully by prying up the tabs and glue that attach the front to the bach then clean out and reseal, or you could try to use a clothes hanger with a small amount of cloth or paper towel taped to the end and insert through the hole where the headlight bulb goes may take some time but could save you a considerable amount of money hope this helps

Composite headlights tend to do this in time. Pull the light unit, and run a small bead of silicone around the assembly where the 2 pieces meet. Also check the seal on the bulb itself. If it is cracked or loose, replace it.

How do you change a headlight bulb on a 2003 Toyota Celica GT? Under the plastic covering the headlight there is a lot of fog and condensation and I want to clean it off, so how do I take off the plastic that covers the headlight?

Seem to be seal is wear off
already on the front cover
The way to open that
1. There is four screws at the back of
the headlights and unscrew them
2. Pull the headlight and dry it
by wiping or heat of the sun or
anything that can release the fog
3. Buy silicon and seal the headlight
gap with silicon and let it dry for a hour
This will help kept away fog
and condensation for sure
