Loss of engine power while driving on computer and stabilitrack disabled.

My truck has been having some computer issues as of late. I will be driving or starting the vehicle after a brief stop and the loss of engine power will be displayed on computer along with stabilitrack disabled and traction control light w/ x thru it is displayed. I can sometimes reset it by stopping and removing the key and restarting the vehicle. Also, my air had blown hot air w/ no communication b/w the air and the computer but by reprogramming the air started working again. What do u think could be causing this. Also, my instr. cluster was stuck on 30 mph for a brief period of time. Now it is working. I drine a 2004 chevy tahoe 2wd 5.3l.

2010 GWM Florid Crossover hatchback is loosing power while driving. What might be the problem?

There can be several reasons for a GWM Florid Crossover hatchback to lose power while driving and display a service light on the dashboard. Some possible causes could be:
  1. Fuel system issues: A clogged fuel filter, malfunctioning fuel pump, or a problem with the fuel injectors can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine, leading to a loss of power.
  2. Ignition system problems: Faulty ignition coils, spark plugs, or ignition cables can result in misfires or weak spark, causing power loss.
  3. Sensor malfunction: Issues with sensors like the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or Oxygen (O2) sensor can disrupt the fuel-to-air ratio, resulting in decreased engine performance.
  4. Exhaust system concerns: A clogged catalytic converter or restricted exhaust flow can cause a decrease in power output.
  5. Electrical issues: Problems with the battery, alternator, or wiring can affect the vehicle's electrical system, leading to power loss.
  6. Transmission problems: If there is a fault with the transmission, such as slipping gears or a failing clutch, it can result in a loss of power while driving.
Given the presence of the service light on the dashboard, it is recommended to have the vehicle diagnosed by a qualified mechanic or service center. They can use diagnostic equipment to read the trouble codes stored in the vehicle's computer system, which will provide more specific information about the underlying problem causing the power loss.

2009 GMC Sierra 5.3. What could be the cause of my Stabilitrack going on and off for no reason and making my truck run bad?

Question edited for clarity.

You need a good auto electrican with a $5,000 pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose. Your issues are electrically caused, not mechanical. 'Local mechanics' don't buy the fancy scanners.

2013 equinox stabilitrack. changed front brake rotor and pads and the stabilitrack wont let car turn on.

Stabilitrack can't prevent engine from starting. You have other issues preventing start up.

Service stabilitrak and reduce engine power on my 2012 chevy equinox and suggestions on what it could be also had a bunch of codes for timing position and I replaced all timing components

The reduced engine power light is most likely setting the stabilitrack light to come on. The reduced engine power light is normally set when the computer senses an issue with the throttle actuator assembly. This actuator assembly needs a corolation signal from the gas pedal sensor to operate properly. In my opinion and experience in the automotive repair industry, the throttle actuator assembly is more prone to failure than the gas pedal sensor.

Cause driving along and car shuts off give engine power loss and starting disabled in info center can happen while driving or just sitting idling

Look at your ignition switch for a recall. Tough to know for sure since you failed to say what kind of car you have.

What does traction off means

Traction control helps by controlling the engine power to the drive wheels to prevent wheel spin. When traction control is OFF then you can apply all power to the drive wheels and it could cause loss of control and or wheel spin.

2007 Tahoe LTZ check engine light and stabilitrack light went on and lost acceleration. Pulled over, shut off the engine for 5 mins then restarted, then a horrific engine click/clank when I rev the engine...

The engine noise is not related to the stabilitrack. Stabilitrack is usually caused by a bad wheel sensor. Get the trouble codes read to find out exactly what's going on. Which engine do you have?

Trans on my 1999 3500 silverado is shifting late wont go into overdrive till 62 mph could it be the speed censor & where is it

Hi, the late shift, and late overdrive issue may not be trans. related, if you need to feather the accelerator to achieve your shifts, and you have a late sift, or loss of power, you may have a restricted fuel filter. The lack of fuel volume can result in what feels like a trans. issue, but in actuality, you are starving the engine for fuel. I would check this first, as it is an easy, cheap possibility. Good luck...Coop

Can't resolve Indicator light for service stabilitrack & ABS..?

Ask your dealer if he has reviewed any "service bullitens" that might be related to the issue. There could be a known issue that has been published by GM that will fix the problem. There could be a field software re-flash needed for the ABS controller or one of the other electronic modules. If he is unable to find such a bulletin or information, personally, I would insist a " Field Engineer" be brought in to review the issue and get it fixed.
Typically the Field Engineer has all the current information from the factory to help resolve the issue.
Good luck and let me know what transpires.
