New brakes still making grinding noise

Replaced front brake pads, rotors and calipers on 2002 Isuzu Rodeo Sport, the brakes are working but as the car is coming to a stop the brakes make a grinding noise and gets louder the more into the stop you are. What could be causing this?

Sounds like it is your hub bearings.  Jack the car up and check for play in the hub bearings.  More than likely this is your issue and the bearings need to be replaced.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating.

    I checked auto zone and you can get the bearings (inside and outside) between $35-$65 that is for one side.  Obviously if both sides need to be fixed it would be double that.  I would think labor for both wheels wouldn't be more than $150 or so.

2003 Chevy suburban replaced front rotors and
you need to take the calipers off and make sure the caliper bolt are free of rust, dirt, and debris inside the boot and caliper bolt hole the caliper slides on these bolts so that both brake pads can wear equally. I suggest antiseize on a clean bolt. A small amount of grease will work, be careful this does not get on the pads or rotor.

Noisy breaks
Grinding noise from brakes is no pad left and the metal is grinding away the disc rotor. I suggest you take it to a brake shop and have them physically check both in and outside pads on both wheels.

Front brakes making noise
Could be that your rotors need to be turned (milled) to take out some of the unevenness. the pads on my last brake job never seated correctly and did not stop smoothly. I would have them checked for both conditions. If a shop did the work and this is what you got, they should fix it for free.

I have a 03 subaru outback sedan that makes noise in the front driver side when pressing the brakes.
The brake booster is not connect to the wheels. More likely is that the oe or more of caliper slides are jammed with rust. If one usually the lower one) is jamming, the caliper twists on the rotor and the pads make all sort of rattling or squeaking noise. A worn wheel bearing allows the pads to be pushed away from the rotor: a mushy brake pedal or grinding noises are the common result.

WHy dose my brake pedal push back and make a grinding noise
Look through the openings in your front wheels and look at the front rotors-are they gouged up? You are probably running metal-to-metal, pads to rotors.
Chances are real good your rotors will have to be replaced along with new pads, but if you catch it early enough you might be able to have them machined, although nowadays that is hardly easy to get done and the savings usually is not as significant as it once was.

If you hear grinding when you apply the brakes then you definitely need to replace your brake pads and possibly your rotors.....also check your brake fluid level. Good luck

Check the metal guard on the back of the rotor to make sure it's not touching the rotor. Are you certain that the noise is from the brakes or the bearing hub, that can be noisy as well?

Did you check the rotors to see if they were cracked or 'thin' ? Rotors sometimes get really thin with use.And they can crack. Or as in one case that I know of there was sand between the rotor and the pads. The pads were also new. Removed the gravelly sand and they worked fine.
