SOURCE: passenger door lock cylinder golf 1998

to remove the lock cylinder the interior door panel usually has to be removed. there is a clip that holds it in position that you can pull off with a good pair of needle nose pliers. is the lock integrated with the door handle?

How do you remove the barrel lock from the drivers door

you need to remove the indoor panel, maybe the end pin of the wire that make that the lock moves it´s out of it´s place, (it´s like a barrel attached to the wire) it must fit in the back part of the lock/unlock handle...it´s easy just be carefull with the indoor panel pins they may get broken, good luck!

My Jag S Type locks the doors by it's self.

I don't know for sure if Jag uses the auto lock feature, as when you move beyond a certain speed it engages the locks for safety. If so there could be an adjustment issue with your cars auto lock feature Just a thought though I had a friend who Ford Taurus did similar thing Yet ot sure how much Ford parts used on Jaguar S Type Good luck To You

1999 jaguar s type locking.

from the abbreviated words ya are using i am gonna assume the door is not being seen as closed to the fem module, so assuming the door is open it will unlock the door to keep ya from locking key in car. does dash show the door is ajar?, if so may need a new door ajar switch or agjusted striker.... any more info on the concern could help you diag, but please use word as apposed to YOUR abbreviations..... may be relocking while driving because the drive away feature of auto locking after the 7mph signal reached
