SOURCE: Starting - no crank -

Try a different key, the chip in the key is probably bad creating the vehicle not to crank as the exciter ring cannot pick up a signal from the master key.

The Crankshaft Position Sensor and the Ignition Control Module also control the spark. It depends on whether your vehicle is equipped with the 2.2L engine or the 2.4L engine as to where these components are located and what they look like.

From your description. I think it is unlikely to be the battery.
Not being familiar with this scooter, I would suggest asking at a motorcycle repair shop for ideas.

Morning all, I run out of patrol in my 125cc sym fiddle 3 scoter and I call my friend and he get diesel instead, after I know it’s wrong full I empty the tank and full it up with patrol and I tried to...

Did you try to start the scooter when there was diesel in it? Yes? Ok, You will need to properly clean out the tank, the fuel lines and get the carburettor stripped and cleaned. You will need a new fuel filter and a new spark plug. Diesel is classed an Oil so it might have clogged the fuel and ignition system.
If you did NOT start it you might have been lucky.
If you have not flushed out the fuel system before you added the fresh petrol you might have pulled a small amount of diesel into the engine. Flush the whole fuel system, replace the fuel filter and replace the spark plug. This should help. When you try to start it do it outside. If it has a Kick starter use that first to save the battery charge and to pull fuel through into the engine. When you button start the engine do it in short 1 to 2 second bursts. This stops the battery going flat as quickly.
When it starts it might struggle at first and have a very smokey exhaust for a short time. This is just the remains of the diesel inside the engine burning away.

Car does not want to start ignition if trying tom start just click's thats it

There are some possibilities which you will have to check in this case:--

1) First of all check the power and voltage to the battery. With meter it will show exact 12 volt if the battery is charged. If the voltage is less get the battery charged at local auto repair shop. If the battery is internally drained and not getting charged then its time to replace the battery.

2) When you crank the car do you see spark coming at the spark plug? If no then its time to check the spark plugs and coil pack. If the spark plugs are not worn out and looks new then its time to check coil pack. The spark plug gets power to spark from coil pack.

3) The other thing to check in this case is the starter solenoid of the car. If the battery is charged and you start the car then it gives power to the starter to start the car. But if starter is faulty or not connected properly then car will not start.

4) The other thing to check in this case is fuel in the car. If there is fuel in the car then check the blockages in the fuel pump if the fuel pump looks proper then check the fuel filter above the fuel pump.

--------------

Keep updated if anymore query .Thanks.

5) If all the above possibilities mentioned above checked out OK/perfect then it's a electrical issue and the wiring's in the car needs to be checked. The car gets power from the battery to get started. so the wires from battery needs to be checked one by one.

The battery to starter connection has power.the battery is ok.but there are many other possibilities related to battery and its other connections, the spark plugs, the fuel pump, the fuel itself, the sensors(o2 sensor, maf sensor)the valve(IAC valve, egr valve). Most probably the spark plug, the coil pack and crank shaft sensor. This 3 are not getting power to get the car start.

I have a 1996 toyota camry, it doesnt want to start its not the battery i just put a new one in and it wants to start

If its not battery, still check the voltage of new battery. In many cases it has seen that battery charge is low, because if the new battery is just kept in stock then it will get drained automatically without any use.So check the voltage of new battery first with meter. It should show exact 12 volt. But if its less or no 12 volt then get the new battery charged.

1) First of all check the power and voltage to the battery. With meter it will show exact 12 volt if the battery is charged. If the voltage is less get the battery charged at local auto repair shop. If the battery is internally drained and not getting charged then its time to replace the battery.

Car wont run.

Does it crank well and all that but with no spark or is the battery just dead? If the battery is dead, it either won't charge while alternator is spinning or the alternator doesn't charge well enough to keep the battery charged well. If it jumps and runs indefinitely, battery is done. If it jumps and dies, alternator is done. If battery and alternator are fine, and you have no spark, you may need a new coil, new spark plug wires if they are worn out and too resistant, pick up coil inside of distributor, or you may have some other ignition system issue.

Most times when an alternator fails, it starts charging less and less till the car won't keep running or it won't start the next time. If the alternator hasn't failed, the battery needs replacing. If your battery is 5 or more years old this is a very good possibility. If your alternator failed and you have killed your battery many times before replace them both. Each time you drain a battery to dead you lose about 10% of its current capacity.

If the battery is fine and engine will not turn, starter may need replacing. Hope I helped.
