Timing belt snapped, on my 2002 hyundai accent 1.6 GL automatic tranny, is it a big problem or not? thanks in advance...

    I just finished doing one at home..Not a major PITA if you know what you're doing. about 500 bucks for the exhaust valves, machine shop work and the head set

Most likely is a big problem as you may have bent the valves which means the head will have to come off to repair any damage

Changing manuel transmission/differential oil

the last time I changed the oil in a manual tranny that is all I had to do, the level in mine was determined by putting an 1/8 bend in a piece of wire, add oil then check to see if you can touch the oil with the wire, when it does it is full enough.

sometimes loss of power can be caused by a clogged catalytic converter which can make the car at times hesitate, and about the trasmission maybe the governor on it might be faulty what that does it changes the gears when it reaches certain speed

DID THE BELT BREAK AND THEN IT WAS CHANGED. If so then you may have bent valve. IF NOT then vehicle may be timed wrong. most likeley on the emission sticker on the hood, or stamped in a plate on the fire wall
