Dead battery in saturn l300 2002

We just bought a used Saturn 2002 L300 that was towed behind a filming truck across the us for a while. The battery seems to drain overnight. I replaced with a new battery and the same problem occurs. The high beam lights seem to spontaneously turn on while the engine is off and the high beam lights turn on automatically when a turn signal is on. During the day, after the car is jump started, the battery is charging and the car stops and cranks up fine, therefore it is not the alternator problem. We only find an auto lights function, engine lights on function but no all lights off function. Is there one? And any thought on why the lights seem to turn on spontaneously overnight that drain the battery?? Since we do check for all lights off when we turned the engine off every night.

Can a L300 Saturn Be flat towed behind a motorhome without hurting the trans

Anytime you flat tow a vehicle it can damage the transmission. The output shaft of the transmission will be spinning, creating heat inside the transmission. Since the engine won't be on, the transmission pump won't be flowing fluid throughout the transmission removing heat from it. I don't THINK it will cause damage to the extent that the car will be un-drivable but damage can definitely be done if repeatedly towed. With rear wheel drive vehicles your able to remove the driveshaft relatively easy so as not to cause any damage to the transmission. However on a FWD vehicle removing the drive axles is a lot more involved and impractical.

Can 2008 saturn astra be dinghy towed(4 wheels down)behind an RV?

You can do it if you really wanted to. You'll need to make sure the steering wheel is secured and that the wheels are perfectly straight or you will wreck the front tires. You will be adding unneeded mileage onto the the car by having the front wheels turning. would be better and less costly overall to get trailer that you can put the front end up on.
