I own a 1996 Volvo 850. The service engine light and check engine light came on after I jump started the car when the battery was dead. I would like to reset the light, and / or read the codes. I looked under the left (drivers side for a plug to read the computer , but found nothing. Could tell me where the plug is located, and how to reset the lights. The car seems to be running fine.
It's in the console under the coin holder, in front of the gear shifter. You have to remove the coin holder and you will see it.
