Wiper fluid flow is weak on drivers side and none on the passenger side. there appears to wiper fluid leaking from behind the insulation panel on the hood.

The windshield washer spray is weak on the drivers side and there is no spray on the passenger side. I have also noticed fluid leaking from behind the insulation panel on the underside of the hood.

SOURCE: windshield wiper fluid does not spray and how does it turn on?

The washer pump should be in the resivoir bottle...remove the plug on the bottom of the resivior and check it for power when the washer button ie pushed... if you have power, then you should replave the washer motor...

SOURCE: windshield washer fluid hose is leaking behind front right wheel

I had the same problem. Reservoir would drain for no reason and I later found that the water was soaking the passenger side carpet and filling the wire channel under the doors. Tracked the problem to a barbed fitting behind the passenger side kick panel, just below the dash. The fitting connects the tubing coming through the firewall from the reservoir to the rear wiper/washer. The hose had come loose from the fitting (possibly due to freezing). I re-installed the tubing onto the the fitting and it has been fine ever since.

2000 grand marquis driver's side windshield wiper lifts off windshield

Hello Steve,

From your post, "Finally had enough and stuffed a small block of wood between the driver's side bottom of the molded plastic linkage frame enough to lift the whole thing enough to put a moderate amount of pressure behind the wiper blade..", it sounds like this box is warped or somehow out of alignment. Is it possible for you to buy this box from a wrecking yard? Has you car ever been in a collision? If so the frame may have so un-repaired buckling resulting in the misalignment.

What is this part called?

My 97 honda accord dont appear to have one, I checked both driver and passenger sides. No White Box. only thing close is a fluid bottle which appears to be the over flow container for the radiator. But as far as in front of passenger front wheel? Nothing. Maybe take car to a "mom and pops" type of repair shop and ask them to see if they can tell you what it is. Usually they will look at something like this without pay. Good Luck.

My wipers stopped working, i dont hear the motor running when i go to turn them on either. the washer fluid still sprayes and none of the fuses are blown.

Hi sdy138, I know you said that none of the fuses are blown but did you check the METER FUSE in the passenger junction box? I assume that the passenger junction box is located under the dash on the passenger side, or behind the kick panel. If that fuse is good then it may be the high or low wiper relay. Hope this helps.

Please rate my advise.

Gets hot on passenger side stays cold on drivers side on 2004 chevy impala

Possible that the vent is blocked if you meant that the car is not cooling with the AC. If so check the flow of air on the vent , remove and clean the vent.
However if there is heat coming in to the passenger side then the engine room insulation can be open or there is a possible leak from the engine room that allows hot air to flow into the passenger side than the driver side.
I hope this was what you meant, if not clarify once again.

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee fluid leak

That is the area the air conditioner vent drains. There aren't a lot of fluids possible - coolant, power steering fluid and transmission fluid are the only ones that would be in that position unless your windshield washer fluid leaks from the tubing. Brake fluid would be closer to the wheels. If the air conditioner runs at all it removes moisture from the passenger compartment and drains near the passenger side firewall. All the other fluids would hae a definite smell.

Water leak from passenger side. visible water flow from inside vehicle. passenger door wires coming through the body of the vehicle is the only way water comes in but i cant find where the water is getting...

I believe if you take a close look at your windshield seal at the top corner of the drivers side, you'll see a gap. Please get back to me on this ASAP. The reason for the urgency is that this water can infiltrate the padding under the driverside kick panel sound insulator causing a major short.

Driver side wiper arm moves only a little

The cap pulls off, try to pry it with a screwdriver. then set the arm where it needs to be and tighten the nut under the cap. This is common, the nut usually just loosens.
