87 Suburban starts and has an uneven idle. When the accelerator is pressed initially, it sputters a bit and then appear to be fine. It will die when it is not kept at a higher rpm. It can be restarted for a bit; however, it will eventually not be able to be restarted. After it sits and cools down, it can be restarted to begin the whole process again.

I removed the fuel line from the carb and cranked the engine. it fed fuel. I am thinking carb, but being a novice makes that just a guess.
Is this one fuel injected or carburetor?
