You may have a vacuum leak at the intake. Spray some WD-40 along the intake while it's running. If the car's idle changes you have a vacuum leak there. Replace the intake gasket. Your IAC valve (Idle Air Control valve) could be acting up as well.

It sounds like you have a bad transmission computer. The first thing you should do is have a shop try to scan the TCM for codes.

Sounds like it could be the ECU (electronic control unit); easy to change. I have bought used ones a lot cheaper than new ones and work fine. Your year may be located under the glove box to the right behind panel (my older car was passenger side under the mat). They are easy to change out regardless of location.

you need to check your transmission fluid. Its a possibility that your transmission is going.

Transmission issue

You need to have the transmission flushed and have new fluid put in. As oil warms up, especially old oil. It loses viscosity and will not lubricate the gears as it should.

Could be one of two things tumbler is warn or your shift lock is worn located in the automatic shifter you can use key to disengage it and try putting the car in neutral then starting it that will tell you if you need a new shift lock or bypass it or if you need a new tummbler.
