My2002 bmw 745i has warning brake light on. The car has only 36,000 miles on it. Car runs without any brake problems. Runs smooth. What is the problem?
The brake pads have sensors in them, when the pads get worn down to the sensor the light comes on letting you know its time to replace. this happens well before the pads are completely gone to reduce wear on the rotors. You should have the brakes replaced and the sensor also.
I have a 2002 BMW 745 Li and the cd changer got jammed after I put 6 new cd's in it. After that, I tried to unjam the cd with a credit card to get the cd out. This did not work, but immediately after that the i drive stopped functioning. The navigation stopped working etc. You can hit "accept" when you first start the car, but you can not go to any screens. The radio, in dash CD, nor any other function on the lcd screen works. Any suggestions on what to try will be appreciated. The air conditioner controls still work (the knobs) on the car and the car drives fine (windows and everything function) just the computer screen isn't working including the voice response
I disconnected the battery to reset everything and no luck. I took out the navigation disk and installed again and no luck. I played with the cd changer trying to get it out "unlock" and no luck
