SOURCE: my rear passenger door will not close. It just
Look on the very end ot the door you will see where the recieving latch is.This is where you spay. You need to make sure that the latch didn't fall into the closed position. You can look at the latches on the other doors to see what they look like in the open position. You can take a flat screwdriver to flip the latch back and forth while you hold the handle.
Testimonial: "Saw what you meant & tried it & it worked - thank you! Any idea if it's likely to do again and if I need a new lock - or a constant supply of WD40?"

SOURCE: why would my door handles (inside and out)
ok, this could be caused by the lock actuator itself not fully unlocking both doors but leaving it up just enough that after a few pulls, makes contact. one test is to lock the doors manually and then unlock. see if they act up. then use your remote(key fob). see if they act up. if its only with the key fob, the actuators might be getting weak and need replacement.
SOURCE: power window open partially with inside or outside
inside the mechanical lock (The part that actualy holds the door shut when you close it) there is a switch that informs the control unit that the lock is either locked or unlocked.
These switches fail sometimes, when this happens the control unit is not aware that you have opened the door, and therefor will not wind the window down slightly.
The switch is integral with the lock unit, and they are not easy things to replace either.
