Bleed the clutch

you may need to bleed the line...you may have air in the line..
when they replaced your clutch they may have forgot to bleed your clutch line.

loosen the line at the master cylinder to allow the master cylinder to prim properly then bleed out the system. There is still air in the system.

Most auto parts stores carry Haynes Manuals. You can order them from Haynes if needed. Or...often they are carried in your local library.

I have done Ford and Toyota clutches using these books. Clutch replacement is not hard, just time consuming...And easier if you have a lift.

Note: If like many vehicles, don't forget to replace the engine rear main seal while you have access with the fly wheel off.

You can call Haynes and ask specifically if the book covers the repair you are attempting. I have called them to get more specific wiring diagrams not always provided with the books. Very helpful in providing tech data... I have a Haynes manual for all my vehicles...makes maintenance and repair much easier than researching every I need to do something to my vehicles.

easy way is one person pushes down on pedal and other bleeds out slave. Good luck

very hard to get to, shops sell them as pre-bled master and slave unit.

All you should have to do is squeeze the plastic clips together, you may need a pliers. Another thing that helps is spray some WD-40 in there and rotate the filter on the line a little.

if you have all tools on hand jack stands and floor jack transmission jack.plus new parts. looking at labor guide it will take 7hrs to take out put in new clutch plus bleed clutch slave cylinder.

Check the cable clips at the trans. Sometimes these clips come out and won't shift. Horseshoe clips that hold the cable housing.

Depends on how heavy a trailer. I wouldn't advise trying.
