How to fix 2001 toyota sienna rear door not opening

The inner hatch latch mechanism is seized. You need to pull the door panel with it closed. It will be tight but it will come off without cracking. Spray lube around inside of latch. Get a long screw driver and pry the link from the key. The latch won't release until the key link goes to the unlock position. It will be seized. It is easy to figure which way to move it if you have someone insert the key into the closed hatch and try to move it.

Can't get the hood to latch when closed on a 1995 Toyota

The latch may be closed already. Have someone pull the cable inside and move the latch by hand to the open position again.

1992 toyota corolla hood does not latch closed

have you lubricated the mechanism? They all need it. Go to a salvage yard and get a used latch assembly. Keep it lubed.

A light remains on in the dash

It's most likely the switch in the door stuck in the closed position. Or it has failed/broken in the closed position.
Sometimes the switch is just a button sticking out of the cabinet where the door pushes on it when closed -- sometimes the door latch pushes on a switch inside the latch receiver in the cabinet.

If cleaning around that switch doesn't solve the problem, you should take it to a repair shop.

Hoodlatch is doesn't stay shut for Toyota Corolla 1993

Before you replace it, are you sure that it is broken? Most of the time, the release mechanism rusts, and sticks in the "open Position". Spray it down with WD-40, and look at the latch closely. Look at the driver side, and see if the release cable is retracted. Using a long screwdriver, pry the release cable back out. It just may be seized up.

2000 Toyota Corolla VE -- Glove Box Stuck

The most common cause is something inside the glove box jammed in the latch. Push glove box door release , and GENTLY insert a flat putty knife, plastic knife, or similar type tool in the groove of door, GENTLY try to pry open the door. U will probably (hopefully) find a napkin, map, or glove (does anybody actually put gloves in the glove box?) jammed in the inside latch. Let me know how u make out.
