I have a 1996 gmc sierra. The ac does not blow very hard out of the vents. Mainly not blowing hard out of the drivers side. Any clue why it would blow hard out the pass side and not the driver side.

There is a vacum line that goes to your intake system.Your a/c system works on vacum and if that line breaks which they due you must replace that line. The line runs from the driver side of the intake manifold to the left towards the a/c evaporator housing

Air blowing

Usually a sign you have a blend door that is stuck, or the controller has failed. The blend doors use small electric motors controlled by the main controller on the dash.

When the ac is on the driver side vent blow only hot air and the passenger vent blow the cold ac air

Usually a sign of low freon or a blend door problem. If the system is full of freon, I would check the blend doors under the dash.

99 GMC Sierra 4.8 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive new body style ac does not blow cold air from the front vents on the dash? Still get some cold air from bottom by floor vents,

if both vents are blowing air in general then you may need to get your air conditioner recharged, but if the front vents aren't blowing at all then you may just have a jammed vent flap and you can fix that from under the hood next to the blower motor. check you rowners maual for the exact location

2002 gmc sierra blows Hot air thru ac vent on drivers side. Whats going on? Setings are set for cold air and we are getting cold air thru vents on passenger side.

We have this fairly often on our gm fleet with dual air controls. Replace the actuator and you will be good again (for a while!)

Why wont my a\c blow through my vents. it blows on

Vacuum hose most likely the problem. They get dry and crack open especially near the connections. Check the vacuum and listen for a hissing sound with the engine running. Don't put your hands near the fan!

Fuse blows on heat/ac

start with the obvious... you have a short circuit... i presume the fuse you have to keep replacing controls the fan. look under the dash near the fan and look for the resister block that controls the fan... you won't see the actual resisters but you will see wires that plug into the side of the duct work for the vents.... remove the two screws holding that block in and check the condition of the resister block. while you have the part out and unplugged you can easily test if the short is there by putting to fuse back in and seeing if it blows again.
