SOURCE: where is the fuse for the electric seat on the

The fuse for the power seat on the driver side in a 2002 X-Type is located in the passenger compartment fuse box. This fuse box is located on the driver side of the car, under the dash.
The fuse you are looking for is a green 30 amp fuse in position F66. Where is F66? When you open the fuse box, you will see some larger relays with 4 rows of fuses below it. The first row has a series of 7 fuses, an open space and then one single fuse on the right had side of the fuse box. The fuse you are looking for is the 7th in the row (the last one in the large grouping of fuses on the first row of fuses.

Thank you for using the fixya forums!

SOURCE: My 2002 s type jaguar doesn't heat. the fans

Probably the heater control valve, had same issue, started with one side not hot, then erratic, hot then cold while heat is set to hot, now both side are cold to lukewarm. diagnosed as heater control valve, common for jag s-types and x-types. located on the passenger side, down low the side of the radiator, it has several hoses into and out of valve, and a electrical connector.

SOURCE: 2002 s-type sport package Jaguar,

System suffered from air locks.... has bleed ports in engine compartment on hose and 'stat housing.

Another problem common to these is the Blend Door motor failing. You can listen to it move with engine off and key in RUN position...turn heater cold to hot and listen for whirring in dash area.

If engine has suffered overheating the coolant flow valve just under the brake booster melts and no longer moves.

This system can only be properly diagnosed with a Jaguar compliant scanner. There is a on-board diagnostics that will show readout on the cluster.

Search ''JAGUAR ETM DIAGNOSTICS '' with your browser search engine..'Google' is good.

ETM is a test mode for Jaguar cars . You will find sites and PDF tutorials and other information on the search. .

It is because you need to add oil. Less oil= extrem temperature!

My v8 sports JAGUAR sedan has deveped a valve or

cam follower is stuck ??maybe because its difficult to diagnose without hearing it,this is normally caused by not changing the oil often enough and using long life oil ??waste of space this stuff change oil every 6000 miles and filter every third oil change .Use the cheapest oil you can buy preferably a diesel turbo oil and this will keep the engine clean and free from gummy deposits. Also as its a big cat then you have to polish it every week to keep it purring and give it the leather cream on the seats.I look after my jag better than er indoors ,shes free to a good home
