Tar Removal, Anything out their that will easily get it off without having to scrub to hard?

WD40 on a cloth will remove it easily. Spray again and polish it off. It is kerosene based and won't harm the paint.

If it is tree tar, then hot water and soap.

How to install a back glass in a 05 dodge magnum wagon. The back lid glass

If you would please look at the glass and the metal door in which it attaches, I believe you will see there is a black "tar" that holds it in place.
First, disconnect the electric rear window defroster wire, if you have one.
You would, using a very thin steel wire, separate the glass from the "tar".
Then, clean the tar out of the channel, and prepare the rear door for new tar and the new glass.
It sticks on.

How do I get tarspray off my car?

Possibly gasoline. It will not hurt an OEM finish or a good repaint. It may soften the tar so it can be wiped off. Then a good wax job helps to keep stuff from sticking again and protects the paint/clear coat.
I have scraped/chipped off stuck on stuff with a razor blade without doing damage before, but I have had years of experience at it.
I would not recomend rubbing compound, at least to start with. While the Volkswagens have a good amount of paint on them (at least past VW's did). When you're starting with a lump of tar, you could go through the paint that is not covered by it before the tar is removed.

My throttle body on my Saturn SL2 is NASTY!! It's got about a 1/4 inch of black tar inside it. Could that be why it is smoking? I'm not losing any oil, antifreeze, or tranny fluid. It's a 1996...

That could be why: So little air may be getting through, that it is causing it to run very rich. First thing to do, while the engine is running, spray a little of that EFI cleaner down the throttle body. Then, IMMEDIATELY, shut the engine off (You don't want tar going INTO the engine). After that, try and get the throttle body off, and CAREFULLY scrape away the road ****. Don't damage the injectors. Clean it nice, and see if it runs a bit better. Best wishes, and I'm curious how it got so much build up! It could cause worse problems down the road if there is tar in the engine ...

Valves jammed open due to oil being so tar looking.......hence NO compression! any ideas what to do next?

Hey, this is due to an issue called sludge. Lack of regular oil changes could be the issue with the oil being so tar looking. If you visit your local MB dealer, you will be presented with an estimator for a new engine. Good luck!
