SOURCE: Replacing passenger window in 1998 Honda Accord LX

yes you can replace it, more than likely I would try getting a replacement window from your local import salvage yard. you will need to remove the door panel screws (normally in the small pull compartment to close the door) and one in the latch, both have a plastic cap that needs to be pried up, it is also connected to the screw or bolt. next, you will need a flat blade screw driver or flat pry bar to take off the panel, start at the bottom. it should just pop out (loud snapping noise). In addition, there is a triangular shaped black plastic cap in the corner, that will also pry off. You will need to unplug the window and door lock connector, carefully remove the lining, you should be able to gain access to the two bolts that hold the window in place. you might have to raise or lower the door till you see them in the removal holes, should be a 10 mm socket. After you loosen remove old glass and install new one and re assemble as you have taken apart, Good Luck!!

SOURCE: 1999 honda accord clutch

Yes, I would get the dealership parts including the clutch plate, throw out bearing, and any other parts that seem to wear out when doing a clutch job on a Honda.

Get the service manual to learn specifically how to do this job.

Good luck.

How to replace a ecm

It should be on the drivers side firewall, are you sure you don't have a loose connection somewhere? Reason I'm asking is that ECM'S rarely go bad and if they do they don't just start working again.

97 honda accord lx keeps dying and won't stay on. I replaced the battery, alternator and starter. It turned on but just stayed on till it drained the battery. what could it be?

have someone turn the key while you listen for the fuel pump to come on in the fuel tank. it should only come on for a few seconds if not than your fuel pump is bad.

The distributor is a high failure rate item on Hondas if I had to guess I would guess the distributor is the culprit. good luck.

My car sometimes turnes off suddenly during

I had the same problem on my 1999 Honda Accord 4 cyl. It was the ignition switch. I received a letter from Honda regarding a recall on the ignition switch and had it replaced. 3 years after replacement it would turn off again & this time I purchased part from eBaby & replaced it myself. It hasn’t stalled since.
