The EGR valve is located on the back of the intake manifold of your engine.
1.6l on the back of the intake driverside.
2.0l on the back of the intake facing down and to the firewall driveside. look below the throttle body.

Their are usually in back of grille or on the underside of rails. you will need to take off the front bumper to get access.

on the backside of the motor, towards the firewall. look above the drive shaft. it's about haft way up the motor.

Should be located on driver's side of engine below the intake manifold. Go to the autozone website and register. It's free and you will have access to an online repair manual for the car. The testing and replacement procedures for the EGR valve can be found there. ( I checked). Hope this helps and best wishes.
