Check bolt under plastic cover at bottom of wiper arm for being tight. The wiper arm should not be able to be moved by hand if this bolt is tight and the wiper arm will not work properly with the wipers on if this bolt is loose

you cannot need a reset tool can buy these for about 15 to 30 pounds from ebay i have the same problem with my c180 elegance

15W40 is preferable

If you are changing the motor oil and filter you will need 7.5 liters of motor oil for your E240.

6 liters of that precious oil is needed!

go to the info menu and navigate to the language options and select english, should be able to reset the oil life reset in the same menu.
