Saturn 2002 VUE Turn Signal not working properly.

When I'm driving and my lights are off, both turn signals are off. When I turn right, everything works perfectly, however when I turn left, my inside dashboard sort of flashes while the inside left blinker flashes, and all the lights on the outside of the car (including headlights) blink in time with the left blinker. It's sort of dim, but at night it's pretty obvious. When I turn my headlights on, the left blinker is always on (inside the car, and outside), and when I turn on my left blinker, nothing happens. Right blinker still works perfectly. Any idea what's going on here? By the way, when it rains, it usually fixes itself for the next few days, and I can use my blinkers normally. What should I do to fix this problem?

You need to check your left side turn/park lamp bulbs for correct part # & installation. If that checks out you deffinetely have a ground problem. When you have other lights blinking with you turn signals you have either a bulb incorrect or a bad/poor ground. If bulbs check out check your forward lamp harness ground.Hope this helps

Had the exact same issue with my 2005 Vue, this had nothing to do with bad bulbs or ground...turned out that the battery was getting weak and couldn't handle running the radio, air, lights at the same time especially if the car was not running. Factory battery was only 550 amps... I replaced with a new 650 amps. It fixed the blinker and dashboard flashing problem.

My blinker signals and turn light only work when thay would to. the fuses are good. all other instruments work.

just replace the emergency hazard light switch. This will solve your turn signal light problem.

Both signal lights don't work, then work, after a while they work again. No pattern to this at all. doesn't matter if head lights are on or off.

sounds like the flasher is bad ,,the flasher for the turn signals ans the 4ways are the same part,it is internal to the 4 way button, up above the radio,,that should fix it

Turn signal runs constantly

you might have a bad ground somewhere .. one of those lights is not grounding properly somewhere... does it do it mostly on the right or left side ? I would check that first then check where the bulb goes into the socket and make sure you have proper bulbs and they are installed properly and each one has a ground wire somewhere to the body.. thanks jerry holler if you need more.

Turn signal issue

Have you checked the fuse inside the car ? If it does not turn on, take the car to an autoparts store to have it scanned for a code. then we can go fom there.
