Fuel prblem does not turnover. fuel does not get into motor but fule pump and filter is good its a 93 gmc jimmy 4.3L v6 vortec

You may also want to check inline fuel filters they may need replacing

HAVE ECM "CODE" READ......IT SHOULD LEAD YOU TO A FAULTY COMPONENT EGR, MAP SENSOR, ETC....

change the trottle position sensor

On the vortec engines they require 56 pounds of fuel pressure to start a few pounds shy of that you have a dead vortec you will need a fuel pressure guage to verify

IS THEIR WATER IN THE OIL? CHECK THE PLUGS TO SEE IF THEIR WET.YOU MIGHT PUT SOME PLUGS IN IT IF WET TO SEE IF IT WILL RUN.THEN PUT SOME HEADGASKETS ON IT.BUT IN REALITY NEW MOTOR WOULD BE BEST.

Change the fuel filter.

bad fuel injectors! i replaced the pump and flue filter and did same thing idle for minute then kill.

Very good chance that it's bad fuel injectors and/or fuel pressure regulator. Very common with the 96-2000 L29 motor (Vortec 7.4L)

if it is the plastic hump and a plug on top and two metal lines going in top the injector set up is under the plastic cover and expensive to boot but they have a problem with them clogging up had a 01 astro van same motor and the injectors look like a spider good luck but it should carry at least 60 psi of pressure

How do you know that it is the regulator?
these 4.3 motors had a lot of trouble from 93 to 98, I know I had 2 of them.
What happened to mine was that the intake kept getting very carboned up. After I would clean it, the truck would run fine for about 5 or 6 months, then same thing.
Theres actually a class action lawsuit about this that I believe has been settled, you may have recourse if you bought it through a dealer. Good luck.You'll need it.
