Hi, I recently bought a used 2003 Saturn Vue 5moths ago. When I first bought it I purchased a battery to put in it and it was running fine. Like a month after the gas meter stop working (stayed on E) but than it worked again. It works on and off but stays not working most of the time. As of the other day I drove my car to church and when I got out my car it wouldn't start at all. The lights are not coming on and it's not turning over at all, even the electric power buttons aren't working. I got a boost twice and still nothing. This will be the second day that it will not start. I did the 1 hour thing with the key and it still didn't work. I don't know what's wrong with my car can anyone help please.
Make sure you put the right battery in your car.

Yup. The throttle body connectors have a history of failing on these cars. Replace the throttle body and the wire connectors that go to it, and you're back in business. Not terribly difficult and you can get the parts from any dealer. Saturn actually has a bulletin out on this problem but they won't cover it unless you're under warranty - no recall for this.

the scan tool that you are using will not read codes from all of the modules. take the car to a gm dealer to have it checked with a tech2

the BCM (body control module) is a problem on these cars it works one day and not the next,also controls the lights, security, door locks, etc this computer is usually very expensive and dealers charge around $800 the replace and reprogram it.
